Four Layers of Structure
Each envelope pair plots upper and lower bands at a percentage offset from the basis moving average, with color fills between them. The result is a layered map of deviation from the mean.
Default percentages β all offsets, colors, and MA settings are configurable
Inner Envelopes (1β2)
The tightest bands around the mean. Price staying within these envelopes indicates low volatility and mean-hugging behavior. Breaks beyond signal the start of a move.
Outer Envelopes (3β4)
Mark significant deviation from the mean. Price reaching the outer bands is overextended β mean reversion setups become higher probability at these extremes.
The Reference Grid
This is the βmatrixβ β between each pair of adjacent bands, the indicator automatically plots quartile reference lines at 25%, 50%, and 75% intervals, creating a dense grid of potential support and resistance levels.
Quartile lines auto-adjust every bar and project 10 bars forward
Micro S/R Levels
The quartile lines subdivide each zone into granular reference levels. Price often pauses or reverses at these intermediate levels, not just at the bands themselves.
Auto-Adjusting
Reference lines are recalculated and redrawn every bar, projecting slightly into the future. They always reflect the current band values β no stale levels.
Mean Reversion Map
See exactly how far price has deviated from the mean and where the next reference level sits. The grid turns the space between bands into a structured roadmap.
