Two Layers, One Story
Built on Wilder's Directional Movement system. Bullish pressure (+DI) plots as green columns, bearish pressure (-DI) as a red filled area — both rendered simultaneously so you instantly see who's winning.
Green Columns
Histogram-style columns showing bullish directional movement (+DI). When green towers over red, buyers are in control. Growing columns mean accelerating bullish pressure.
Red Area Fill
Filled area showing bearish directional movement (-DI). When red extends above the green columns, sellers have taken over. The area fill makes dominance shifts immediately visible.
The Inflection Point
When green columns cross above the red area — or red rises above green — that's the inflection. The exact moment directional dominance shifts from buyers to sellers or vice versa, often visible before price reacts.

Intentionally simple — one parameter to tune and automatic bar coloring that puts directional context right on your candles.
Bar Coloring
Price chart candles automatically turn green when bullish pressure dominates (+DI > -DI) and red when bearish pressure takes over. See directional bias without looking at the indicator pane.
Shift Delay
The single tuning parameter — controls the RMA smoothing period for directional movement. Lower values react faster, higher values filter more noise.
Pairs with Zone Sniper
Use Genesis Inflection as a directional filter — determine the trend bias, then take Zone Sniper entries in the dominant direction for higher-conviction trades.

Directional Momentum at a Glance
Green columns and red area fill show bullish vs bearish pressure side by side. When green towers over red, bulls are in control. When red overtakes green, bears are driving. No guessing — just look at which one is bigger.
Momentum Inflection Points
The crossover between green and red marks the exact moment momentum shifts from one side to the other. These inflection points highlight potential reversals and trend changes before they're obvious on the price chart.
Bar Coloring for Quick Confirmation
Enable bar coloring to paint your chart candles green or red based on the indicator's current direction. Gives you instant visual confirmation of momentum without looking away from price action.
Adjustable Sensitivity
The Shift Delay setting controls how responsive the indicator is. Lower values catch momentum shifts faster for scalping. Higher values smooth out the noise for swing trading. One setting to tune — no complexity.
